Abstract

This paper discusses the definition of mathematical modeling, various perspectives from researchers both domestically and internationally, and the author's proposed process for mathematical modeling. It focuses on applying this proposed process to solving real-world problems in teaching the topic of quadratic functions (Grade 10 mathematics). Through mathematical modeling, students not only gain a deeper understanding of theoretical knowledge but also enhance their mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Keywords: Mathematical modeling, quadratic functions, real-world problems.
