Abstract
This study presents the development and piloting of an intensive TOEIC instructional system based on Case- based Learning (CBL). The core objective is to transform TOEIC academic knowledge into problem-solving competencies within specific professional contexts. Employing descriptive research and needs analysis, the author piloted the materials across three 'English 5' classes involving students from five Engineering majors. Preliminary results indicate that the system enhances linguistic skills while significantly increasing learner engagement and autonomy through authentic professional communication scenarios. The study proposes a practical framework to optimize career-oriented TOEIC teaching and provides vital data for innovating language assessment methods in technical universities today.
