Abstract

Raglai is an Austronesian minority language spoken primarily in Khánh Hòa and Lâm Đồng provinces, Vietnam. This study surveyed 120 participants and conducted in-depth interviews with 15 community representatives, teachers, and students to examine the current use of Raglai dialects in support of developing the General Education Curriculum for the Raglai language. The results revealed a relatively high level of mutual intelligibility among dialects (Mean = 3.19), while the demand for language standardization was remarkably high (Mean = 4.00). Based on these findings, the study proposes the Central Ninh Thuận dialect as the foundation for implementing the Raglai language curriculum and developing unified instructional materials.
