Abstract
Human resources in physical education and sports (PES) during the period of international integration play a pivotal role in enhancing Vietnam’s position in regional and global sporting arenas such as the SEA Games, the Asian Games, and the Olympic Games. In practice, although the number of PES personnel has steadily increased, their overall quality, professional qualifications, foreign language proficiency, capacity to apply science and technology, and international integration skills remain limited. In addition, the training structure has not yet been closely aligned with practical demands, and there is still a shortage of highly qualified experts in the fields of sports science and modern sports management. In the context of globalization and digital transformation, it is essential to standardize human resources in accordance with international standards, innovate training programs, strengthen international cooperation, and improve policy mechanisms to attract, employ, and develop high-quality personnel, thereby meeting national development goals.
