Abstract

Digital transformation in higher education has created an increasing need to innovate teaching methods toward competency-based learning, with digital competence becoming essential for students to adapt effectively to learning and working in a digital society. In the teaching of Marxist-Leninist Philosophy, pedagogical innovation not only enhances students’ acquisition of theoretical knowledge but also contributes to the development of critical thinking, self-directed learning, and the effective use of digital technologies. This paper examines the theoretical foundations and current issues related to the teaching of Marxist-Leninist Philosophy and proposes several solutions for innovating teaching methods to foster students’ digital competence in the context of digital transformation. The study highlights the importance of integrating active teaching methods with digital technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness and to meet the evolving demands of higher education in the digital era.
