Abstract

This research aims to build a system of documentation on war crime evidence in the Hai Yen - Binh Hung Special Zone, Ca Mau province, contributing to supplementing the scientific basis for historical research, preservation, and education of the site's value. The research affirms that combining archival documents, artifacts, witness accounts, and field surveys using a multi-source comparison method has contributed to enhancing the scientific reliability of the documentation system. The research results are not only significant in preserving and promoting the value of the Hai Yen - Binh Hung Special Zone National Monument but also propose a process for building a documentation system that can be used as a reference for other war relics and historical memory sites in Vietnam.
