Abstract
Confucian ethics has long been an important part of the system of values and cultural and ethical traditions of the Vietnamese people. In the process of building and perfecting social ethics and human ethics of modern Vietnam, promoting the positive aspects of Confucianism while limiting its limitations and negative aspects is an urgent task. This article analyzes the current state of Vietnamese social ethics, evaluates the role of Confucian ethics, and then proposes a number of key solutions to effectively promote Confucian ethical values, while overcoming negative issues to build sustainable human and social development.
