Abstract
In the teaching of Literature in secondary schools, worksheets are always considered an important and indispensable teaching tool to meet the requirements of current educational reforms. Teachers prepare worksheets in advance, designed as questionnaires or learning tasks, to maximize student engagement and initiative and help students understand and consolidate their knowledge of the lesson. Recognizing the important role of worksheets in teaching Literature in lower secondary schools in general, and in teaching reading comprehension of folk tales in particular; this article, based on an analysis of some basic theoretical issues regarding worksheets, presents the process of designing worksheets for teaching reading comprehension of folk tales to the 6th-grade students, contributing a small part to improving the effectiveness of Literature teaching for the 6th-grade students in lower secondary schools.
