Abstract

Experiential and career-orientation activities are a compulsory component of Vietnam’s 2018 General Education Programme. However, their implementation in private lower secondary schools often depends on ad hoc cooperation without a stable coordination mechanism. Drawing on systems theory, experiential learning theory, and the PDCA cycle, this study proposes a model in which the principal acts as the coordinator of a formal partnership among schools, families, and enterprises or universities. The model comprises workplace experiential activities, a five-step trip management process, and a digital risk assessment tool based on the “Forecast– Prevent–Respond” approach. A pre-test/post-test pilot involving 50 students showed a significant improvement in outcomes, demonstrating the model’s feasibility in mobilising social resources, ensuring safety, and enhancing the quality of career-orientation activities.
