Abstract
The course “Basic Dance and Choreography Based on Preschool Musical Works” plays an important role in the training of Early Childhood Education students at Ba Ria - Vung Tau College of Education, as it helps develop artistic competencies and the ability to organize musical activities for children. However, many students still demonstrate limited activeness, self-study, and creativity, which adversely affects training quality and learning outcomes. This study aims to assess the level of students’ active participation in learning, identify its underlying causes, and propose solutions to improve training quality. It also contributes to strengthening the scientific basis for innovating training methods in the field of Early Childhood Education.
