Abstract

V. I. Lenin inherited and creatively developed the theories of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels concerning the proletarian political party, thereby establishing a comprehensive theory of the new-type party of the working class. His ideas became an important theoretical foundation for the establishment and development of communist parties worldwide, including the Communist Party of Vietnam. In the context of rapid and far- reaching digital transformation, Party building faces both new opportunities and challenges. This article examines the fundamental elements of V. I. Lenin’s thought on the new-type political party, analyzes the effects of digital transformation on Party building in Vietnam, and clarifies the creative application of his thought to building the Communist Party of Vietnam in the digital era.
