Abstract

“Agriculture is a national advantage and the backbone of the economy.” To transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, with a vision toward high-tech and digitalized production, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) serves as a vital resource. The Central Highlands is a region endowed with immense potential for agricultural development, particularly for perennial industrial crops such as coffee, pepper, and rubber. However, the number of FDI projects in the agricultural sector of the Central Highlands has not yet matched the region's inherent potential. Based on an analysis of the current situation, this article proposes several fundamental solutions to enhance the attraction of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into the agricultural sector of the Central Highlands.
