Abstract

The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam marks the country's entry into a "new era, an era of rising up for the Vietnamese nation," where the strength of great national unity has been elevated to a strategic lever and a core endogenous resource to realize the nation's development aspirations towards 2030 and the vision for 2045. This article focuses on analyzing the new, breakthrough aspects of the ideology of great national unity within the Documents of the 14th National Congress. Based on this new theoretical understanding, the author proposes a comprehensive system of orientations and solutions for a fundamental renewal of the teaching content on great national unity within the Ho Chi Minh Ideology course at universities and colleges today.
