Abstract

Podcasts have emerged as a digital communication medium that can strengthen connections between universities and prospective students. This article examines the potential use of podcasts in university admissions at Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Drawing on the expertise of the Faculty of Creative Communications, the University can produce podcast content tailored to prospective students’ information needs at different stages of the academic year. Voice-based communication can help address students’ concerns about selecting a university and field of study while facilitating dialogue among the University, prospective students, and parents. The article proposes practical measures for developing podcasts as a sustainable admissions communication channel, strengthening prospective students’ trust in Nguyen Tat Thanh University, and communicating its educational philosophy of “True Learning – True Practice – True Recognition – True Career.”
