Abstract

This study aimed to examine the current status of career orientation among final-year students at the University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The study surveyed 216 final-year students using a self-developed questionnaire. The results indicated that students' career orientation was at a moderate level, approaching a high level. Among its dimensions, career awareness achieved the highest score, while career attitude received the lowest score. Although students had engaged in certain career preparation activities, limitations remained in developing career-related skills, preparing for job seeking, and identifying the fit between personal characteristics and occupational requirements. Based on these findings, several recommendations are proposed to enhance the effectiveness of career orientation for final-year students.
