Abstract

In the context of globalization and the rapid development of the knowledge economy, the role of a leader is no longer defined solely by formal title or authority, but increasingly depends on their ability to influence individuals, groups, and stakeholders. In practice, a leader may possess power within the organizational structure, but may not necessarily gain consensus, commitment, and trust from subordinates if they lack the necessary influence. Leaders who can inspire, build credibility, motivate, and guide the behavior of others are often able to expand their sphere of influence, thereby consolidating and sustainably increasing their power. This shows that influence is not only a tool to support the exercise of power, but also a fundamental element contributing to the formation and development of leadership power in the modern organizational environment.
